Week 14 Bump Update!

Week 14 Bump Update!

So last week we had our second ultrasound on the 27th of Nov. and wow was it interesting. We went to St. Mary's Hospital in Manchester and they were amazing! Seriously, if anyone you know is going there to see the antenatal specialist that work with high-risk pregnancies, they will not be disappointed. The staff was brilliant and very gentle with us. They took us to have the ultrasound and discovered there WAS indeed a very thin seperating membrane! and that baby B's nuchal fold was NORMAL!!!!! The specialist said that the ultrasound tech must have misread the findings. Which to be honest stressed us out unessasarly and reach took away from the joy of knowing we were having twins. So our babies went from momo twins to mo/di twins in a half second! We still arent out of the clear yet as the babies still show a difference in size (by a week) which they told us could be early ttts or twin discordance. We will know more at the 16 week scan. which is next week in 10 days!

How far along? 14.5 weeks
Total weight gain: 8lbs
Maternity clothes? yup it's finally happened! no more looping a rubber band around my jean button.
Stretch marks? nada
Sleep: sleeping is horrible... still having issues sleeping on my side. Also waking up every night to tinkle
Best moment this week: being told the nuchal fold is perfectly normal ON EACH BABY! AND WE FOUND A MEMBRANE!! YAY!
Miss anything? Sleeping on my tummy ... so comfy.
Movement: Maybe.. i've been feeling alot of pinching sensation (which I think is round ligament pain) but then there are some times when I feel pressure like something is pushing out like little pokes.
Food cravings: still just salty things.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope not anymore!
Gender: No , but we should be finding out hopefully in 10 days.
Labor signs: No.
Symptoms: Nose bleed, headache, dizzy, constipation and uterus feeling very tender and when I walk it feels like my uterus is being pulled apart (fun)
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or moody most of the time: BITCH , hubby is being so good about this.
Looking forward to: Being told that the babies do not have early ttts (the doctor still see a week difference in the twins which can be early ttts or can be normal twin discordance) We wont find out until the 18 for sure.
